CAAP Confirms Heartbreaking Discovery: Wreckage Found in Isabela Belongs to Missing RPC1174 Aircraft

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has confirmed that the wreckage found in Isabela province on Thursday is the missing RPC1174 aircraft. The Cessna 206 plane, which went missing on January 24th, was discovered before noon by members of the Dumagat tribe and teams from the Armed Forces of the Philippines in Barangay Ditarum, Divilacan town.

The plane had departed from Cauayan Airport at 2:15 p.m. on January 24th and was bound for Maconacon Airport. The air traffic controller last contacted the aircraft at 2:19 p.m. while it was flying over the vicinity of Naguilian Bridge in Isabela.
